About QuranShot
A free website to share the words of Allah through beautiful images. We ask Allah to make it an ongoing charity for all Muslims.
بَلِّغُوا عَنِّي وَلَوْ آيَةًConvey from me, even if it is a single verse.
Our purpose
The purpose of this website is spreading the word of Allah (تبليغ كلام الله). We believe that every shared ayah has the potential to reach a heart and bring it comfort or guidance. Allah says: «وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِّمَّن دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ» (meaning: And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims.") [Quran 41:33]. This site is completely free and exists only for this noble intention, seeking no worldly gain.
A continuing charity
We ask Allah to make this site an ongoing charity (صدقة جارية) for all Muslims. By the immense grace of Allah, it is hoped that everyone who shares an ayah that benefits someone else will share in its good reward. The Prophet ﷺ said: «مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ» (meaning: Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like one who did it) [Sahih Muslim 1893]. He ﷺ also taught us: «إِذَا مَاتَ الإِنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ: إِلَّا مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ، أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ» (meaning: When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: an ongoing charity, knowledge which benefits, or a righteous child who prays for him) [Sahih Muslim 1631]. We invite every visitor to share these ayat with a sincere intention, hoping for the reward from Allah, and to remember their deceased loved ones in their du'a.
How to share an ayah
- Find the ayat: Browse through the Surahs, use the "Find an ayah" search box, or explore topics to choose the ayat you wish to share.
- Choose a respectful design: Select from our templates that are inspired by the beauty and dignity of the Mushaf.
- Share it: Download the image or send it directly to your family and friends, hoping for it to be a source of light.
Preserving the trust (amanah)
Allah says: «إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ» (meaning: Indeed, it is We who sent down the message, and indeed, We will be its guardian) [Quran 15:9]. Handling the text of the Quran is a heavy trust. Therefore, the Arabic text here is never typed by hand. It comes directly from verified sources—the Tanzil Project and the King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (مجمع الملك فهد لطباعة المصحف الشريف)—and is checked letter by letter. Furthermore, a translation only conveys meanings; it is not the Quran itself. Thus, the translator is always named. Let an image be a door to the Mushaf: read, reflect (tadabbur), and learn the tafsir.

Every image is signed. A digital signature and an invisible mark let anyone check that a copy is genuine and unaltered. Verify an image →
Our principles
- The Quran first: Accuracy is our highest priority; the text comes only from verified sources and is never retyped.
- Free for everyone: The site is completely free, seeking Allah's reward alone.
- Adab in design: We use calm, Mushaf-like designs so that the words of Allah stay the absolute focus.
- Privacy: We respect your privacy, collecting minimal data and never selling it.
The Prophet ﷺ said: «خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ» (meaning: The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it) [Sahih al-Bukhari 5027]. We ask Allah to accept our efforts and forgive our shortcomings. If you found a mistake, please tell us.
